6.2 Cleaning Procedure for FC/APC Bulkhead Ports

CAUTION

Clean the transmitter and receiver optical ports only when there is

evidence of contamination or reduced performance.

6.2.1. Swab Method

Using a clean fiber optic cleaning swab, gently wipe out the optical

port. Discard the swab after use.
